TV I’ve loved in 2012 | Teen Titans So I had watched some of this show when I was younger but I didn’t watch it all the way through until this summer. And it was so good that immediately after finishing, I went back and watched it all again. There are witty lines, great villains, and really individual characters. The animation style is unique and perfectly suited to the show which is well balanced between fun silliness and the most heartbreaking shit you’ll ever go through holy shit. Also Terra. TERRAAAAA. I’ve never been so attached to a character like I have with Terra.

So I had watched some of this show when I was younger but I didn’t watch it all the way through until this summer. TV I’ve loved in 2012 | Monty Python’s Flying Circus Probably my biggest “discovery” of the year. I mean, I knew and watched bits beforehand but it wasn’t til I sat down and watched the whole thing through that it was like WHAM never going back. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is really something everyone should at least try. It is a bit cring-y at places and it was obviously filmed through worse than a potato, but it’s well worth it. The six writer/performers have perfect comedic timing (and diabolic acting); like seriously, it’s at a whole nother level but we’re not getting into the reasons why because that will take a while. Just watch it! It’ll boost your comedy street cred and you’ll hopefully have fun too~

It’s one of those edge of your seat kind of shows. Like every episode ends in a way that leaves you all ‘who needs sleep, I need to find out what happens now’. And this show is sure to hit upside the head with surprising twists and reveals but not in a super messy, mind-wrinkling way, y’know? It all makes sense, really. And the characters THE CHARACTERS. I didn’t ask to care for every single person on the show but here I am now?? Everyone is given really fleshed-out backgrounds and believable motivations and it’s really great wow.

I only started watching this show a week ago but wow it’s already ruined my life (thanks to Elissa for that). It’s one of those edge of your seat kind of shows. Like every episode ends in a way that leaves you all ‘who needs sleep, I need to find out what happens now’. And this show is sure to hit upside the head with surprising twists and reveals but not in a super messy, mind-wrinkling way, y’know? It all makes sense, really. And the characters THE CHARACTERS. I didn’t ask to care for every single person on the show but here I am now?? Everyone is given really fleshed-out backgrounds and believable motivations and it’s really great wow.

TV I’ve loved in 2012 | Teen Wolf Does anyone get into Teen Wolf voluntarily? I feel like everyone’s been dragged in kicking and screaming. Ellen did the dragging for me and wow I don’t regret it. It is an MTV show about high school werewolves BUT it’s also criminally good? Moral dilemmas, kickass ladies, and an almost literary approach to storytelling. Not joking, I did write a paper on this show. THE SYMBOLISM AHH. But anyway yes complex, deep characters (all of whom happen to be extremely attractive so, bonus!) with smart writing and occasional ridiculousness which really only adds to the charm.
